Indigo Social Campaign.

Challenge:
It is reported that 72% of teens aged 12 to 17 play video games. For parents, this may be concerning, having grown up in an era when technology was only in its infancy. Gaming is surrounded in the stigmas that they are unproductive, damaging to our brains, and can lead to violence and addiction. However, gaming is shown to have cognitive benefits. Indigo is an organization dedicated to addressing these concerns and educating parents on the benefits of gaming.
Outcome:
Over the course of 3 months, I heavily researched and designed a successful social campaign that destigmatizes video games to parents of children that play games.

The infographic video reached over 39,000 unique impressions via social media.
I chose the name Indigo because it symbolized intuition, fairness, and integrity. With a topic so rampant with misinformation and stigma, fairness and integrity was a core value in sparking this conversation.

After the script was finalized, I recruited a close friend (Melissa Berman) to do the voice-over narration seen in the video below. The video is accompanied by 3 panels of accompanying infographics that would be displayed in a physical gallery alongside the video.
